RIFLE, Colo. — The 20th annual Rifle Rendezvous promises to be another fun event this month, taking place from May 13-15 at the Garfield County Fairgrounds.

RIFLE, Colo. — The 20th annual Rifle Rendezvous promises to be another fun event this month, taking place from May 13-15 at the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
The event will feature live frontier people of all ages and heritages who will come together to celebrate and have fun.
“A rendezvous is a place where people of all cultures can assemble and exchange their wares, goods, values and ideas,” a Rendezvous official said. “What better place than Rifle, Colorado to have a Rendezvous?”
The Rendezvous will kick off from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 with a dinner and the movie “City Slickers” at the Ute Theater and bring a receipt from any Rifle restaurant to receive two free tickets to see the movie.
FRIDAY, May 13 — From noon to 4 p.m. there will be a “Shotgun Start” golf tournament at noon, sponsored by the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce.
From noon to 11 p.m. there will be a carnival at the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
The NSPA Sled Pulling Contest will be  held from 5-11 p.m. in the outdoor arena of the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
Mini Putt-Putt will be held from 4—11 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
A county-wide 4H Contra Dance & Fundraiser will be held from 7-11 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
Beer/Wine will be provided by the Elks Club.
SATURDAY, May 14 – Indoor arena of the fairgrounds
Breakfast will be served by the Little Britches Rodeo Club from 7-9 a.m.
9 a.m. to Noon – Archery contest
Chainsaw Carving Contest from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
Carnival open from noon until 11 p.m.
1-2 p.m. Churchill’s Artiluma Dance Company
DOWNTOWN
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Rendezvous Car Show on Third Street
9 a.m. – 3 p.m Art & Beer show at Ute Theater
METRO PARK
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Rolling Rendezvous at Skate Park
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Rifle Police Department Bike Rodeo
• OUTDOOR ARENA – Garfield County Fairgrounds
4-6 p.m. Rendezvous of Faith with Jump for Jesus & Jeff Fenhold live in concert.
Tyler Ferris bull riding competition 7-9 p.m. followed by free Daryle Singletary acoustic performance.
SUNDAY, May 15, Garfield County Fairgrounds
Sunday Morning Breakfast served by Little Britches Rodeo Club, 9 a.m. to noon.
9 a.m. – noon, Worship time will all area congregations invited to join in.
Noon – Potluck luncheon. Bring your favorite dish. Area churches will provide meat.
Noon – Closing of carnival.
