SILT, Colo. —They dress in 1960’s attire, listen to old rock ’n roll, drive old-fashioned gas guzzler vehicles and often sport silver-colored haired worn in a pony tail..
They’re not just typical Silt residents, they’re “hipsters”!
Of course, it’s hard to tell them apart because they all look alike.
“Yeah, I’m a hipster,” one resident confessed. “I love Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and Yes. And I love to blast the music outside of the window of my Chevy Impala.”
He scratched his beard and rubbed his wrinkled face and then greeted a man across the street who looked just like him — vest and all.
“We’re cool,” he added. “The 60’s were all about music, politics, free love and lots of sex. It was the best decade ever.”
The cops agree that they all look alike.
“We don’t even have to take mug shots,” an officer said. “They all look the same so we can use the same mug shot every time we arrest one.”
The officials at the driver’s license office could not be reached for comment…
