SILT, Colo. — Because we’re now moving into pumpkin season, the town is holding a free “Punkin Chuckin’ contest from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Stoney Ridge Pavilion.
Bring your best launcher or arm, hit the targets and win prizes! Hot chocolate, carmel corn and other treats will be available.
“There will be four age groups for the contest,” said Community Development Director, Janet Aluise.
The pumpkins are being provided by the Silt River Preserve Community Garden.
