Salad with homemade Caesar dressing

Cowboys probably aren’t crazy about fancy salads with alfalfa sprouts and fancy veggies,  but this simple stock Caesar salad is always a hit — especially with Italian food.

Romaine lettuce, chopped
Shredded parmesan cheese

Caesar Dressing:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic,  minced
2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 raw egg or 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise in lieu of raw egg
pinch of sugar

Place the salad ingredients in the bottom of a large salad bowl and mix well. Toss with chopped salad and top with shredded parmesan and croutons.
